Nomad Dave’s Current Location
I carry a SPOT GEN 3 satellite-based tracking device with me. One reason is for safety. The other is so anyone interested in my journey can easily see where I am at any given time, updated every ten minutes right here. Enjoy.
You can make adjustments to what you see. How to use this map:
- Click the “Menu” icon in the upper right corner
- Click on “Dave’s Worldwide Adventure” link
- Click on “Adjustments”
- Make adjustments desired
- Note regarding “% Fill”: a numeric value indicating the percentage of locations for the “History” length chosen to show on the map. For instance, if there are 100 locations available in the last 24 hours and the fill factor is 10 percent, only 10 of those 100 locations will appear on the map. So if you select a long period of time but keep the “% Fill” at 100 then you will not see the length of time desired since there is a limit to the number of points that can be displayed at one time. If you choose a long length of time considerably lower the “% Fill” value.
