Here you will find adventure travel product reviews written by The Manic Nomad. These are not technical reviews. The reviews are based on my own practical, real-world experiences with products. Many of the products reviewed here stood the test of time having been used for up to 6 years under harsh conditions. Traveling by motorcycle the majority of the time and being on the road virtually every day puts added wear and tear on products that go beyond “normal.” You will learn why a product is useful, how it performs, and how to use it (where applicable).
Many of the products I review can also be found on the packing lists page with links to where you can go to buy the product. My hope is to make it as easy as possible for you to get ready for a big adventure travel trip from deciding what you need to making purchases. I wish I had a resource like you will find here when I was preparing for my first big trip!
